My Role In WWII



My Ford Motor Company played an important role in the Allied victory during World War II. I ordered my workers for mass production of airplanes and other equipments for the war. I especially created the B-24 Liberator bomber, it’s still the most produced Allied bomber in history, which turned Allied powers more powerful and were able to defeat the Axis powers.

Before me, and the other companies I created, the aviation industry could produce one Consolidated Aircraft B-24 Bomber a day at an aircraft plant. I showed the world how to produce one B-24 an hour at a peak of 600 per month in 24 hour shifts. My Willow Run factory broke ground in the April 1941. At the time, it was the largest assembly plant in the world, with over 3,500,000 square feet. With this much of supplies, I was hoping the war to end as quickly as possible, so my workers would not suffer from overworking and save factory energies.

Later on when the Allied power won and World War 2 was over, I was honored by the Smithsonian Institution for changing the aviation industry. President Franklin Roosevelt referred to Detroit as the "Arsenal of Democracy." But seriously, people don’t need to be thankful. This is what I’m supposed to do for justice. My contributions were just trying to give emotional support for the Allies; I didn’t really do as much as the soldiers did. So now, I would pray for soldiers that lost their lives in the war and hope they’ll rest in peace.

My Resentment Toward Jews

The reason why our economy wasn’t well is because there were just too many Jews around and also too many immigrants. Why can’t they go back to where they belong and stop disturbing the balances in the United States and the European states? I befriended Charles Pipp, an editor, and hired a journalist, William J. Cameron to listen to his ideas and write a weekly column just for me, “Mr. Ford’s Page”. I really cannot hold back and just let nothing happen to those immigrants and Jews. They should be sent away to a concentration camp in Siberia or go to the ghettos in Germany.  Mainly, the Jews want to control the world. They also tried to conspire against my company. I hired them out of pity but look at what they tried to do to me! On the good side, I was the only American that was mentioned in Hitler’s “Mein Kampf”. At least I have a powerful supporter behind me. I’m just really scared for the influence of the Jewish rate. What if one day they kicked me out and dominated my precious companies? So we should stop them before they rule the world. However, my intentions to warn the world got rebuffed by my opponents. Louis Marshall, apparently did not understood the significance of eliminating Jews, had me negotiated an agreement to publicly announce that articles reflecting on the Jews would never appear again. I didn’t sign the agreement. It was forged. How come people won’t accept the fact that Jewish bankers caused World War II also? This is completely insane!

Observations of the Life after Model T

There were about twelve separate companies. I think I seriously needed to coordinate these companies to make it more effective. I created a new factory, the Detroit of Europe, it was built at Dagenham in UK. However, something that turned against me was the depression. Even though it was cheap to buy, but there were heavy taxes. The company only sold 5 cars in its first three months. Then we designed Model Y, in desperation to save the company. It turned out successful. The company earned 1.39 million profit in the next year. Model Y give me 54 percent of the British market. Then in the 1929, Ford US began to help Russians build a factory outside of Nizhni Novgorod. Its name became Gorky in 1932, opened on New Year’s Day 1931. The contract was terminated in 1935, but the Russians saved themselves by building Ford, or GAZ. My company helped laid the foundation of the development of Russians into auto industry. Overall, I really enjoy helping other nations under my influence. People would rely more on America and America would be rich. I hope this peace will be continued throughout centuries, because when a war occurs, my workers have to work hard but I won’t be able to pay much since the entire money foundation contribute to war. Socially, through the newspapers, my Ford cars made global impacts by an easier transportation process since my car is simple to drive and efficient to be drove around.

Model T

The arrival of my first Ford cars was in Britain, 1903. Within months of their arrival, they went on show at the March 1904 Cordingley Automobile Show in the Agricultural Hall, Islington. I still remembered that a young man named Aubrey Blakiston got interested in my cars and ordered a dozen Model A Fords, and put them on a showroom in Long Acre, a London centre of the coachbuilding. My car was the first “World” car. Europeans were very interested in purchasing them. My most trusted production associates, William Knudsen and Charles Sorensen were both Danes. They took control of the Ford Denmark. At first the sales went slow. But later on, people began to see advantages of this new development of transportation. When people started buying more cars, I decided to open up industries in Europe for a more convenient purpose. One of the best Ford factories was established in a former warehouse in Trieste, Northern Italy. It had 75 percent share of a market covering 36 countires. The first German Ford was established in 1925. At first, the chief clerk couldn’t read or speak German, but he learned German quickly and became an effective leader. My life became increasingly prosperous after the global spread of my accomplishment. I also granted workers more wages so they could produce better quality automobiles. I made many friends along the way and created opportunities to other people who didn’t had a job. I think my companies benefited both me and other people.

Henry Ford

                I am Henry Ford, born on July 30, 1863 on a farm near Detroit, Michigan. My father is William Ford and my mother is Mary, Litogot Ford. My wife is Clara Ala Bryant and we have a son named Edsel Ford. I’m an American industrialist who founded the Ford Motor Company, and responsible for the development of the assembly line’s mass production. I revolutionized transportation and American industry by creating the Model T automobile. Eventually, I became one of the richest and best-known people in the world. I also created the system of Fordism which has high wages and cheap consumer goods. Around 1896, I was introduced to Thomas Edison. He approved and encouraged me of my automobile experimentation. Then I founded the Detroit Automobile Company on August 5, 1899. But those automobiles were in bad condition and too expensive for anyone to use. I dissolved my company in January 1901. With the help of my friend, C. Harold Wills, I designed and built a 26-horsepower automobile in October 1901. With my success, Murphy and other stockholders in my company formed the Henry Ford Company with me as the chief engineer. However, that company didn’t work so well so I left, and he renamed it Cadillac Automobile Company. After some years of work, Model T was introduced on October 1, 1903. It had the steering wheel on the left, the entire engine was enclosed, and there are four cylinders. The car proved simple to drive and cheap to repair. In order to become richer, I publicized my invention in Detroit by issuing it in every newspaper and ads. This strategy worked greatly for my car had 100% gains almost every year. By the way, my friends, you never seen another colored Model T besides black haven’t you? That’s because I demand it is painted black so that the paint will dry faster, and you will be able to get your car faster. When World War I broke out, I made my company make aircrafts. My most successful aircraft was the Ford 4AT Trimotor. It could contain 12 passengers. In my opinion, I detest wars.  So I allied with some other owners to transport my products to the Allied powers in the European continent. If they won, the war would be over. I am also anti-immigrant, anti-labor, anti-liquor, and anti- Semitic. I wrote articles attacking Jews because there are just so many of them. I want to expand my company globally. Some other nations that cooperate with me are Ford of Australia, Ford of Britain, Ford of Argentina, Ford of Brazil, Ford of Canada, Ford of Europe, Ford India, Ford South Africa, Ford Mexico, and Ford Philippines. Later on in my life, my son died of cancer in May 1943. It was an unspeakable misfortune. I resumed the presidency of Ford Motor Company. Gradually, I had bad health conditions. I heard that President Franklin Roosevelt was going to take over my company in order to continue war production, but he never did.
